Zoe P Midler

Zoe P. Midler is the teacher-librarian at Flagstaff Academy in Longmont, Colorado. She is a Google Certified Teacher and is Flagstaff's Google Czar. She has Bachelor of Science in Advertising from the University of Illinois and Masters in Information Learning & Technologies with a concentration in School Librarianship through the University of Colorado Denver.

Zoe comes to academia from the corporate world, she worked in the high-tech field as a software product manager for technical software publishers including Wolfram Research the makers of Mathematica and Wolfram | Alpha, Excelis, the makers of IDL and ENVI software,  and Leopard Communications as an online marketing strategist.

Zoe is not a rocking chair librarian. She is a tireless evangelist for information literacy, contextually relevant collaboration, and embedded librarianship. She fosters an atmosphere in the library media center that encourages students to investigate and scrutinize all aspects of the information environment, become discerning consumers of information, and knowledge creators.
