Monique le Conge Ziesenhenne
Prior to the directorship in Palo Alto, Monique was director of library and cultural services for the City of Richmond from 2004 to 2010. She was a director of the Benicia Public Library from 1998 to 2004 and also worked as a children's librarian for the Solano County Library. Monique has been a lecturer at San Jose State University and worked as a consultant in library affairs. In 2008, Monique was President of the California Library Association. She holds a bachelor's degree from the University of California at Davis, a master's of library and information studies from the University of California at Berkeley, and is a PhD candidate in managerial leadership in the information professions at Simmons College in Boston. Chromebook lending program is Monique’s brainchild.
