Kenn Bicknell, Digital Resources Librarian, Los Angeles County Metropolitan Transportation Authority

Kenn Bicknell has served as the Digital Resources Librarian at the Los Angeles County Metropolitan Transportation Authority Library & Archive since 2008. He has also worked in public libraries, a museum, and as a college instructor. He currently serves as Executive Chair of LA as Subject, a network of more than 230 archives, libraries, museums and historical societies whose collections pertain to the history and culture of Southern California. He recently led the 20-year old organization to develop its first ever strategic plan. In March 2013, Kenn was named a Library Journal "mover and shaker" for his work in digitzation and social media. In June 2013, he received the Special Library Association Transportation Division's Innovation Award for his work on the Los Angeles Transportation Headlines.
