Timothy Ritz, Research Specialist, Web Designer, Advanced Resource Technologies, Inc. and Contractor with US Department of Defense

Timothy Ritz is a Research Librarian and Web Resources Project Leader supporting a U.S. Dept. of Defense agency library in the Washington, DC metro area. Tim studied History and Graphic Design with a concentration in Web Design from American University in Washington, D.C. before starting work at a government library and discovering the wonder that is information science. Tim will be pursuing an MSIS in the coming year. He recently presented on the panel "Content, Context, Contraptions" at the 2011 ALA Conference, with a presentation focusing on developing customer-centric solutions and avoiding common pitfalls when adapting new devices and applications into libraries.
