When we need to take on strategic projects that pave the way to a more innovative future, we may or may not have all the skills to tackle these projects in-house. Making sure that staff continue to develop the skills to innovate is critical, but so is the need to complete a quality project, which may require a consultant. This panel addresses the competing challenges of needing to reinforce our own competencies to innovate with those of consultants. How should one decide which projects to source with consultants?
