Mary Beth Sancomb-Moran, Librarian, University of Minnesota, Rochester

Mary Beth Sancomb-Moran is the librarian at the University of Minnesota - Rochester campus.  She has worked with the regional library consortium (SELCO) in Rochester, and is the former director of the Sidney Public Library in Sidney, Nebraska.  Mary Beth is originally from Milwaukee, Wisconsin and comes to the library profession after a tour through sales and sales management, marketing, the brokerage industry, and higher education. She has a Master of Science in Organizational Leadership and Quality as well as a Master of Science in Library Science.

 

Mary Beth has presented at Internet Librarian, Minnesota Library Association conferences, American Library Association and Public Library Association conferences, and at the South Dakota State Library Training Institute. She was featured in the WebJunction Member Spotlight , and is active in a number of the WebJunction programs.  Mary Beth is proud to be a 2009 LSW Shover and Maker and blogs as the Impromptu Librarian.
