Deadline Extended to October 20, 2009

Internet@Schools East, like its West Coast sister event, Internet@Schools West, is a conference especially for library media and technology specialists who are using the Internet and technology in K-12 schools. Sponsored by MultiMedia and Internet@Schools magazine, this two-day conference covers technology, tools, trends, and practical topics, and is held in Arlington, VA, in conjunction with Computers in Libraries.

Internet@Schools East 2010 will be held on Monday and Tuesday, April 12 and 13, 2010, concurrent and co-located with Computers in Libraries 2010 and its exhibit hall.

Building on Your Success … and Ours
The Internet@Schools East conferences have been a big success and a great addition to the Computers in Libraries conferences, thanks to well-received presentations from folks like you! Why not contribute and share! The overall theme for the 2010 Computers in Libraries and Internet@Schools conferences is Information Fluency: Literacy for Life, and preparing today's kids for tomorrow's life is something you in K-12 know all about!
You Are Invited…
If you are running an innovative program through your school media or technology center that is helping your students learn or your colleagues teach, or if you are willing to share your practical tips, tools, or techniques about using technology and the Internet in schools, we want you! Please volunteer to speak at Internet@Schools East 2010.
Submit a proposal by clicking on the link at the top of this page as soon as possible.
Include the following brief details of your proposed presentation on the form: title, abstract, a few sentences of biographical information that relate you to the topic, and full contact information (title, address, e-mail, phone & fax). All proposals will be reviewed by the organizers and notification regarding acceptance will be made in a few weeks.

All speakers receive a full, complimentary registration to the Internet@Schools East 2010 and Computers in Libraries 2010 conferences, plus great recognition from their peers. So think over your latest success stories or technology ventures and submit your proposal today.
